MIKU MAESTRO Q15 is a very rare find. He is a genetic condition free son of Mayura’s Itoshigenami Junior (ADBFA0139). He offers a genetic package that combines the world class proven marbling and carcass abilities of his sire with deep growth traits of his dam.
Itoshigenami Jnr is recognized worldwide as the leading marbling Wagyu bull with breeding values supported by extensive carcass records collected by third party assessors. He has 1412 registered progeny and has impressive qualities with Carcass Wt of +21 kg (98% accuracy), Eye Muscle Area of +7.7 (97% accuracy), Marble Score of 3.4 (97% accuracy) and Marble Fineness of 0.50 (91% accuracy).
MAESTRO's dam (BDWFB1077) is a very impressive animal with superior growth and female traits. She offers a 600dWt of +68kg, MatCowWt of 65kg, Milk of +11, CarcWt of +56kg and Retail Beef Yield of +2,1. She has 40 registered progeny. Her EBVs are also very similar to that of her own dam (also a Macqaurie bred cow BDWFZ0561 also with 38 registered progeny). Z0561 has a 600dWt at +63kg, MatCowWt at +74kg, Milk of +5, CarcWt at +56 kg and Retail Beef Yield of +1.8. B1077 herself is sired by Macquarie's renowned Y408 (BDWFY0408), a proven carcass sire with 341 registered progeny and highly reliable breeding values for Gestation Length at -3.6 (80 % accuracy), Milk +2 (86% accuracy), Retail Beef Yield at +1.4 (81% accuracy), and Marble Score of 2.1 (90% accuracy). MAESTRO's dam line also incorporates Itozurudoi TF151 (IMUFLTF151) as maternal sire.
MIKU MAESTRO (MAXFQ15) is an exceptional blend of the world leading marbling and carcass credentials of Mayura Itoshigenami Jnr and the very deep growth and female genetics in the quality pedigree of his dam. He offers a Carcass Wr of +40, Marble Score of +1.9 a WBI of +$263, a SRI of $255 and a FTI of +224.
MIKU MAESTRO Q15 is qualified for export to the EU, UK, the USA and Australia for full-blood breeding as well as F1 carcass production. He is popular for breeding females. We have domestic (to Australia) and export qualified semen available on site with partners in the USA, Canada, EU and the UK.
