Macquarie Prelude is one of the most recognized modern sires of recent years.  We offer his genetics in combination with a quality daughter of Sumo F126 as a well balanced genetics package.

The sire of these embryos is Macquiarie Prelude (BDWFM0495).  He introduces marbling and carcass genetics well recognized by a significant number of breeders around he globe.  He now has 684 registered progeny.  He is well balanced and offers very short gestation, good milk and solid marbling performance.  Prelude is sired by Macquarie's Y408 (BDWFY0408) one of the leading proven sires renowned for consistently producing quality carcasses.  Y408 has 341 registered progeny and offers solid breeding values for Milk of +1 (86% accuracy), Retail Beef Yield of +1.3 (79% accuracy), Marble Score of +2.1 (90% accuracy) and Marble Fineness of +0.34 (80% accuracy).   This female supports and balances the superior genetics of the sire of these embryos exceptionally well.

The dam of these embryos is an exceptional donors, MAXFN0002.  She is one of our most trusted embryo donors and has 11 registered progeny.  She is sired by the legendary Sumo F126 (SMOFF0126), who needs no introduction.  He is renowned for his both his marbling and growth traits. He now has 1810 registered progeny and is without question one of the leading sires of our time.  MAXFN0002's dam is a solid female out of the Westholme stable (AACFK5035) and provides a excellent growth genetics.  Her sire is none other than Westholme's B0039 (WESFB0039) with 396 registered progeny. 

These embryos offer the potential of progeny with a short gestation period, higher milking ability, good growth and solid marbling traits.  They would make for a good investment to establish a sound base for new breeders or for established herds looking to introduce female genetics that could offer good donors for flushing purposes.
